ENGINEERING PRACTICES LAB

This Laboratory is used to provide exposure to the first year students with hands on experience on various basic engineering practices in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY LAB

Manufacturing Technology Laboratory is a well-equipped laboratory which provides ideas on the practical knowledge of several steps of casting, pattern usage, mould creation, gating design, produce a casting and check casting defects.

CAD / CAM LAB

The CAD/CAM Lab is aimed at giving exposure to and enhancing the knowledge and skills of engineers involved in the operation use of CNC machines, CAD packages and for those who want to provide training to others in this area.

STRENGTH OF MATERIALS LAB

The objective of the strength of materials lab is to demonstrate the basic principles in the area of strength and mechanics of materials and structural analysis to the undergraduate students through a series of experiments. In this lab the experiments are performed to measure the properties of the materials such as impact strength, tensile strength, compressive strength, hardness, ductility etc.

FLUID MECHANICS & MACHINERY LAB

Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulic Machines Laboratory is a well-equipped laboratory which provides ideas on hydraulic turbine and carry out their performance study useful hydel power plants. Examine and understand pump working characteristics under given constraints.

KINEMATICS & DYNAMICS LAB

The objective of the lab is to understand the kinematics and dynamics of mechanical elements such as linkages, gears, cams and learn to design such elements to accomplish desired motions or tasks.

THERMAL ENGINEERING LAB

Used for the performance test on four stroke multi fuel engine with data acquisition system and software for engine combustion analysis and performance. Experimental capabilities includes study of steam generators and turbines. Performance and energy balance test on steam generators.

METROLOGY & MEASUREMENT LAB

Metrology & Measurement Laboratory is a well-equipped laboratory which provides ideas on hands on experience with various measuring instruments to utilize in industries. on evaluating mechanical properties of a given specimen or structure. This laboratory is scheduled for 5th semester Mechanical engineering students.

MECHATRONICS LAB

The Mechatronics Lab provides state of the art facilities and experimental setups to learn and enjoy the field of mechatronics. Modern society depends on mechatronic-based systems for modern conveniences.

From intelligent appliances to safety features in cars such as air bags, and antilock brakes, mechatronic systems are widely used in everyday life.

Today, it’s generally defined as study concerned with the design, selection, analysis, and control of systems that combine mechanical elements with electronics components, including computers and or/microcontrollers.
