HOD DESK
The Electronics and Communication Engineering is a department at AIT with the introduction of the B.E. (ECE), the department of electronics and communication engineering was formed in 2013. One of the most popular and rapidly expanding engineering disciplines is electronics and communication engineering (ECE). The current global technological revolution is transforming the globe and providing Engineers in particular with interesting opportunities. Engineering in electronics and communication plays a crucial role in the current technological revolution. The practical issues influencing our daily lives require electronics engineers to develop novel solutions. It includes a wide range of applications, such as television, radio, computers, telephony, mobile communication, etc., that make our lives more convenient and interesting. The use of electronics has significantly increased productivity across a wide range of crucial economic sectors, including the oil, energy, and agricultural industries. Electronic devices can direct, control, and test manufacturing processes in the steel, petroleum, and chemical sectors. Electronic tools are used in the health care sector to examine bodily functioning and conduct chemical tests. ECE engineers have a wide range of opportunities. The scope is incredibly broad because to how quickly advances and technologies are spreading throughout the world. Since practically every industry deals with electronics and computers, it has application across almost all industries. Additionally, they are able to get employment with both governmental and commercial telecommunications firms. They are also employable in the chemical, steel, petroleum, and power industries.
With regards to the installation, use, and maintenance of electronics equipment and systems, they have use in both the public and commercial sectors. Electronics engineers are employed by defence, space, and other organisations that conduct extensive research in order to create and design communications and signal processing systems and devices.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Electronics Engineering have opportunities in Government and private companies for installation, operation and maintenance of electronics equipments and systems. Defence, space and other large research organisations employ electronics engineers in design and development of complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication.
SCOPE OF ECE
The major driving force for the present day Information Technology revolution is the development in Electronics Engineering. The advancements in microelectronics, satellite and optical fibre technology, analog and digital in communication techniques have resulted in developing complex electronics devices, circuits and equipments capable of implementing fast and efficient telecommunication systems. Real time transfer of audio and video signals is now possible with recent trends in broad band technologies. Electronics Engineering have opportunities in Government and private companies for installation, operation and maintenance of electronics equipments and systems. Defence, space and other large research organisations employ electronics engineers in design and development of complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication.
